Valediction PDF

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for the overwhelming response to the final chapter of Valediction. I am absolutely humbled by the incredibly kind posts and pm's. And a special thank you to amaranthink for her glowing recommendation. I am still blown away.

I've had a couple of requests for a download of the story so I thought I would share the link here (via sendspace) in case there are any others who would like it. Edited: The link is no longer active, but it you would like a pdf please message me and I will send it.

I just have to say one last time (I swear - no monkey) how grateful I am to all who read and commented, especially those who looked past the death!fic warning and took a chance. There is, in my opinion, no greater love story than the Brian/Justin love and I honestly believe this story was and is a tribute to that love. Cowlip gave us two amazing characters, Gale and Randy brought them to life in a way that no other actors could have, and the awesome writers of this fandom have kept them alive for us (especially late-comers like me) all these years with some of the most wonderful writing I've ever read - and I don't just mean in fan-ficdom. Thank you for letting me share in a  small part of that.

Valediction - Epilogue

Title: Valediction (Epilogue)
Rating: R Language, violence
Warnings: Angst. Oh, and then? More angst. * Major Character Death *
Disclaimer: I own nothing except my thoughts, and even then sometimes, I rent.
Complete: Yes Word Count: 61,251

General Summary: Canon thru 509(ish), right down to some of the scenes/dialogue directly from the show. Some just happen in a slightly different time line. Because what if Brian realized what he was missing before the bombing? What if he changed just one thing, and that changed everything - the butterfly effect gone mad.

Author's note: I promised this epilogue way back in September, and I swear it was mostly written at the time, but I could never quite finish it and eventually scrapped it altogether. I've found that when something just won't work it's because I'm trying to write with my head instead of my heart and my heart told me that Justin should have the last words of this story. And so, here they are.

Once again, my heartfelt gratitude to all those who stuck with me through all these months and who took the time to comment. It means more than I can say. I appreciate all of you, and most especially those who took a chance and looked beyond the 'death!fic' warning to share in the love of these two amazing men and their family. Thank you so much. ~ q_dicted

It's not my fault

I just wanna say that if the epilogue to Valediction isn't posted when promised it's NOT MY FAULT. How am I supposed to function properly when all I want to do is stare at this all day long?

Seriously. How?

Author's note: And so we come to the end of the story. I never dreamed when I started this in January that I'd still be writing it come September December. (see Epilogue. Oy.) There will be a short epilogue up on the weekend   one of these days soon, but in the meantime, thanks so much to those who took a chance on a death!fic and let me know you were reading. Your comments and encouragement mean more than I can say.  ~ q_dicted

As always, feedback is appreciated!

Author's note about the WIP:
I really only intended to write a short epilogue to this story and post it right after the end of Part 3, but somehow it morphed into a part 4, and now, part 5. There will be at least one more after this. I know - Oy! I blame Justin. I promise that the story will be finished - but meantime, parts 1-3 can be read as a stand alone. ~ q_dicted
